Responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and supervising drivers in the W. Lee Flowers Transportation Department.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Conducts orientation and onboarding processes for new drivers.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of driver scheduling.
• Oversee the continuous training and development of drivers in accordance with company procedures.
• Overseeing operations to ensure drivers comply with company safety policies and FMCSA guidelines.
• Reviewing reports to verify that targets related to our customers are being achieved.
• Ensure that all drivers' needs are addressed professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain training files and records.
• Approves attendance based on the shift schedule determined by Logile.
• Oversee the Lytx dash cam system. Provide guidance and address common and repeated driving behaviors.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments within the facility to uphold the production standards established by W. Lee Flowers.
•Offer emergency support to assist the transportation department as required.
•Responsible for assuming the duties of the Transportation Manager during their absence.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
•Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation
•Must have a Class A CDL license
•5+ years of commercial driving experience
•Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
•Skill in operating computers and various office equipment
•Strong leadership and communication skills
