Responsibilities

  1. Serves as Help Desk for stores including but not limited to management, scanning coordinators, DSD receivers, for any pricing, scanning, receiving, billing, sign, tag or ad issues in any department; received by phone, email. Completes action to correct issues and notifies appropriate personnel of any corrections requiring store action.
  2. Creates offers/deals from PromoSuite system, verifying all allowances, lump sums, product groups, dates, sale retails, for all departments or category managers as assigned by manager.
  3. Keys deals, retails or sale retails in pricing system directly as needed for all departments.
  4. Keys Fresh department retails, new items and sale retails into InterScale. Creates and sends events; trouble shoots all pricing related issues.
  5. Communicates with Appcard regarding testing of complex promotional data.
  6. Works with Category Managers as related to pricing, promotions, authorization and discontinuing of items and overlapping promotions.
  7. Works with category managers to resolve any issues with overlapping promotions.
  8. Cross trained on all systems/departments.
  9. Serves as a backup for one to two other Pricing Technicians, with strong working knowledge of their respective categories and responsibilities.

  4. Candidates must be able to sit and stand for extended periods and demonstrate flexibility to work beyond standard weekday hours, as needed, to support business objectives.
  5. Must have Excel/Outlook/Office experience.
